Emily Yore, Content and Design Manager, Splice Marketing

In healthcare marketing, I wouldn’t suggest being on every social media platform. I’d suggest researching your target audience and determining what platform they use the most.

For some of you, you may want to use Instagram and Facebook, for others it will be LinkedIn, others it will be YouTube.

For Instagram, for example, it’s very photo-sharing. So if you are, say a GP, and you’re not going to be sharing super engaging and interesting photos, then I wouldn’t recommend being on Instagram. If you’re a plastic surgeon, yes, Instagram is a great platform for you.

But at the end of the day, I would just recommend really researching what platform will work for you and what platform you will actually be consistent on posting on.
